This is a rare opportunity to create authentic Japanese sparklers (senko hanabi) under the guidance of a real fireworks craftsman. You will learn directly from the artisan how to handle the materials, prepare the composition, and bring out the delicate beauty of the sparks. The process uses traditional methods and genuine materials, offering an authentic hands-on experience. Safety is carefully managed, so even beginners can join with confidence. Senko hanabi is a small but deeply symbolic firework. Its tiny fireball is said to represent the stages of life—“birth, bloom, scatter, and fade.” At the end of the workshop, you will light the sparkler you crafted yourself and experience the fleeting yet unforgettable beauty that has touched the hearts of Japanese people for centuries.

Itinerary
▶ 0–15 min First, practice using flour instead of gunpowder. ▶ 15–30 min Next, make the real sparklers with actual gunpowder. You will create 3–4 pieces within the time. ▶ 30–45 min Move outdoors and light the sparklers you have made, enjoying their delicate beauty.
