This spring tour takes you to a peaceful local area of Tokorozawa, about 30 minutes from Tokyo. We start at Tokorozawa Station and take a local bus to a quiet neighborhood where you can enjoy a popular local ramen shop loved by residents. After lunch, we walk along a beautiful cherry blossom street in Higashi-Arai. This area is less crowded than famous cherry blossom spots in Tokyo, so you can enjoy a relaxed sakura experience. Next, we visit 所沢航空記念公園, known as the birthplace of aviation in Japan. We will take a peaceful walk through the large park. Inside the park, we will also visit the traditional Japanese garden at 彩翔亭. Finally, we stop by a local supermarket near Kōkū-Kōen Station so you can see everyday Japanese food and snacks before finishing the tour. The best timing depends on the cherry blossom blooming conditions. Thank you for your understanding.

Please wear comfortable walking shoes. We will take a relaxed walk for about two hours to enjoy the best cherry blossom spots. It is very convenient if you have a Suica or PASMO card.
The tour will take place rain or shine. Depending on the weather conditions, some locations may be changed. Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms usually start to fall about 10 days after they begin to bloom. Even if they are not in full bloom, you can still enjoy them in a different way. The fee includes only the guiding service. Meals, transportation, and any other expenses are the responsibility of the traveler. If you have large luggage, there are paid lockers available at Tokorozawa Station.
Please refrain from drinking alcohol. The cherry blossom walk is available only on these three days. I conduct this tour on my days off from my regular job. If you need to cancel or will be late on the day, please contact me as early as possible.
"Hello! My name is Yuko. I live in Tokorozawa, Saitama, which is about 30 minutes from Tokyo. I love my town because it has beautiful parks, quiet streets, and friendly local restaurants. I started studying English again recently because I enjoy meeting people from different countries. My English is not perfect, but I enjoy communicating with guests and sharing local places. On my tour, I would like to show you a peaceful cherry blossom street, a popular local ramen shop, and a beautiful park known as the birthplace of aviation in Japan at 所沢航空記念公園. We will also visit the traditional Japanese garden at 彩翔亭 and stop by a local supermarket to see everyday Japanese food. I hope you can enjoy a relaxing and friendly local experience in Tokorozawa. I look forward to meeting you! "
