I will serve the tour of the event as your guide speaking English, facilitating communication with local craftsmen from local companies. I decided to do this tour because I want as many people from abroad as possible to interact with artisans here. Takaoka city is one of Japan’s leading manufacturing hubs with a 400-year history. The venue is inside a multistory parking garage connecting to Takaoka station, Toyama. An entire floor will be transformed into a special industrial park for two days only every year. Artisans from various traditional crafts will give their demonstrations with their techniques and host workshops.
