Are you ready to truly step into Okinawan life? This hands-on tour goes beyond tasting to immerse you in the local food culture. Led by a local guide, you will first visit a non-touristy supermarket to learn about unique Okinawan ingredients like Goya, Jimami Tofu, and regional vegetables. We will then head to our convenient, fully-equipped office kitchen located just steps from Kokusai Street to cook and master 2–3 essential home-style dishes (Uchinā Ryōri) that the locals eat every day. 1. Participation of Small Children (Age Restriction) We regret to inform you that this tour is not suitable for children under 6 years old. This is for safety reasons due to the active use of kitchen equipment (knives, heat) in the cooking area. Note: Children of elementary school age and above are welcome when accompanied by a guardian. 2. Kitchen Hygiene and Safety Hand Washing: All participants must thoroughly wash their hands before starting food preparation. Guide's Instructions: You must strictly follow all instructions from the guide regarding kitchen safety and equipment use. 3. Allergies and Dietary Requirements (New Addition) Okinawan cuisine frequently uses Pork (e.g., Rafute or Spam) and Peanuts (e.g., Jimami Dofu). If you have any food allergies, dietary restrictions (vegetarian, halal, etc.), or specific concerns, you must notify us at the time of booking. If informed in advance, we can attempt to adjust the menu and prepare alternative ingredients as much as possible. We may not be able to accommodate requests made on the day of the tour.
Prohibited Actions (Strictly Enforced) Intoxication: Participation while heavily intoxicated or under the influence of drugs is strictly prohibited. Disruption: Loud or disruptive behavior that interferes with the cooking process or the office environment is not allowed. Unauthorized Use: Do not use any kitchen equipment, tools, or appliances without the guide's explicit permission.
