"As a film director and writer, I travel all over Japan for work — but Toyama is my hometown, and truly where my heart belongs. The essence of who I am has been shaped by this land’s nature, traditions, and the wisdom of those who came before us. So whenever someone from around the world visits Toyama, I feel like it’s my turn to give back — with a big smile and an even bigger welcome! I’m genuinely excited to share the charm of this special place with you. Let’s make some amazing memories together — see you in Toyama!"
